Flock

We have gathered ewes together from various flocks around Texas and the Midwest as we found genetics that met our needs. The genetic base for our ewes are greatly influenced by Howard and Cole.However, we are begining to use a Forsee ram and we are enthused about the prospects.

Although our flock is influenced by Texas market lamb demands, we keep an eye on current national trends and seek to incorporate progressive genetic traits into our flock.

We believe the Southdowns we are raising will help you find success.

Cole 356

We put our flock together in an effort to raise our own show lambs. As our friends and acquaintances began to notice our success, we began to sell lambs to people in and around our community. Lately we have sold lambs in New Mexico, Louisiana and of course here in Texas

This years lamb crop will be sired by Forsee and Cole 356.

We select genetics that emphasize power and muscle on a modern frame. We select for level hip, thick wide loin, and a pronounced rack of lamb. We also select for clean extended sheep with good size.
